John St John-Moss is a 62 year old physical fitness instructor married to Kathryn and has a loving son Josh.
Ex Army and ex butcher John can lend his physical strength and determination to almost anything, but there is a growing situation that at some stage will curb John’s motivation.
John has Parkinson’s. He has had this progressive neurological condition for 12 years and it is slowly starting to take its toll. In December 2018 he had Deep Brain Stimulation surgery to help his body to cope with the disease.
It is very unlikely you will meet a fitter 60 something man with such positivity. Whilst still capable to do so, John has set a massive physical and mental target – to cycle 1600 kilometres over 12 days including rest days from southern Thailand via the mountainous regions of Malaysia to Singapore..
To date John has raised over £100,000 for Parkinson’s UK. In order to raise this amount of money, he has done the following…
2011 He climbed Kilimanjaro. Cycled London Nightrider
2012 Cycled through Vietnam and Cambodia. Cycled London Nightrider

2018 John had Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery at the end of the year and was unable to plan any significant cycle rides leading up to this.
